Camp Chairs are Us!
You have probably seen these and always wanted one but, never could find someone who makes them.  These are chairs that were made to be carried by donkeys on long trails.  They are curved to conform to the donkeys big bellies.  They are made of two pieces and the smaller fits inside the larger.  You separate them and gravity and ingenuity does its thing to hold your weight or sit you up as straight or far back as you'd like.  We can make them 6" from the ground for camp fires or 20" (doesn't matter the inches to us, we can make them to help your knees stay parallel or lower than your hips.  You'll have the luxury of just telling us how high you want them and we'll build them to spec.  They can be finished, still in the rough, not put together or put together.  You can have them in pine, oak, poplar, treated, untreated, finished with a polyurethane or a linseed oil - you name it because it's for you!  We think these are perfect for patios - especially when you need to fold them up and put them away.  Dan's the architect so, just let him know what you need!  Email bambam616@gmail.com if you're interested in these really quaint chairs.

This chair is done in treated pine and the single rail shows the color with boiled linseed oil.  These chairs show a single screw but, we are using two screws per chair and building the chairs with an option of rider slats.  Ask for wider slats (no extra charge, it just provides a different feeling).  Beeswax is applied for smooth function and screw covers are glued on top of countersunk wood screws.  These are not done with dowels as some can be.
